I’M back and the Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordant

Hi, everyone!!!

I know I haven’t been writting much but I have been very busy!!! I’ve had my MOCKs this week and last week so I had to study or revise a lot. I really apologise for not saying anything or even writting a story or something. My last MOCK will be tomorrow and as I know everything quite well I decided I would write today, as these few days I will be writing a lot. I have a smallish tinish bank holiday. As I live in Spain I get sapnish holidays (*knocking my face on the wall for this achievement*). I do believe I did quite well so I have my fingers crossed.

I have been reading though, quite a lot. Everyday I have 1h 30 of bus travelling as it takes my bus 45 minutes to get to my school, so I read then. Since the day I stopped writing I have read all of the Heroes of Olympus books and just now I have finished The Blood of Olympus. I must say I am very proud of myself as those books are quite big-sized, not too much but about 500-550 pages each.

So, here’s the review…. Hope you like it and don’t think I overjoy myself ;>

“Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,

To storm or fire, the world must fall.

An oath to keep with a final breath,

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death!”

This book was a cry for death. With most books you just now what you are waiting for, death and pain and so it makes everything better (well, just sometimes); with these books you might as well be preparing yourself for 5 years before you can actually read them and feel nothing, not even then. The thin about Percy Jackson is it’s sassiness. It just overwhelms you and guess what?…. You can do nothing about it just read the books.

In this series of books there is not only Greek mythology present but also Roman mythology, combined together to create the most amzing books ever. it ws sometimes confusing but if you’re not good with names (*hand soaring through the air in a verticaal direction, upwards*;)) there is a glossary which will make everything easier, even in ebooks there is like a link where you can click on it and it will direct you to that word in the glossary. Problem solved.

Next on the list is… Have you read Percy Jackson? If you have you will understand the character’s sassiness and those amazing moments when you can’t stop laughing. If those 3 characters where amazing imagine that multiplied by 7 demigods, and now there is a mix between Romans and Greek ones!!!! Percy once again is as dumb as everything but still he is amazing and sassy and funny.

There are new characters introduced (duh…!) and more sassiness. Annabeth never ceases to impress us with her inteligence and she will have to overcome many of her demons and her mother’s. She befriends many of the new demigods and the character development with all of them is amazing as they start off as fragile, dumb demigods (except Annabeth, she is certainly NOT dumb) and end up bein badass, much more powerful demigods who have amazing friends and allies.

But for the amazingest character award there can only be one winner. The award goes to………………………………………………………………………………………………

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Leo Valdez!!!!!! *round of applause*. His amazingness and really intelligent and dumb jokes never cease to end. He is just amazing and the future that is foreseen for him is just not fair as he is the best of them all.

So… read the books!!! Quick!!!

(PS: I don’t intend to back-stab you so I’ll just mention that you will end up with a heart ache so hard it will probably destroy you, so have fun!!!)
